A soft twill woven linen with a fine sheen. 100% European grown flax, marked with EU Flax. Color against varm natural beige. Use for crewel embroider with thin threads. Tightly woven, stable, thin quality.

You can see through the fabric and transfer a design with clear outlines as you use a light table or similar. One side is smooth and even. Draw with a fine water-soluble pen.
The fabric is similar to that used in the Bayaux Tapestry and other historical embroidery.
CARE ADVICE:
Soak 20-30 minutes before washing to avoid permanent creases.
Wash separately at 40 degrees C. Do not use optical brightener or rinse aid. spin speed max 800 rpm. Do not tumble dry. Stretch after washing.
Feel free to rinse in a little vinegar which makes the laundry softer and is also more environmentally friendly. Shrinkage about 5%.
